THE KEN MORRIS TEAM
Riding to Support Local Women's Shelters
Ken has been involved for years with MOTORCYCLE rides to help raise funds for the Shelter Foundation. Each year Ken organizeS a ride through the mountains with fellow Benchmarkers to raise even more!

In June of 2025, a group of motorcycle enthusiasts hit the road for the annual Golden Triangle ride. The journey took riders from Cochrane to Golden, then on to Radium, before looping back home to Cochrane through some of the most scenic mountain routes. Best of all, this ride is about more than just the experience, 100% of donations go directly to supporting Big Hill Haven in Cochrane. Last year, our incredible community came together to raise over $12,000 in support of local women and children seeking safety and support. This year, our annual Cochrane Ride for Shelter is on May 30th. Click the link above to join our ride and help us raise funds for Big Hill Haven!

Our journey does not stop there; it continues on a global scale. In August of 2022, we joined fellow Royal LePage® riders for a 13-day motorcycle trek across the rugged and breathtaking landscapes of the Himalayas in India. From pine forests to snow-capped peaks and high-altitude mountain passes, it was a physically and mentally demanding experience! However, it was well worth it as we helped raise over $137,000 for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation!

Looking ahead, the next chapter takes us to Europe. In August 2026, I’ll be heading to Romania’s famed Transylvania region for an epic 7-day motorcycle ride in support of the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Riding 200–300 km per day alongside fellow Royal LePage colleagues, we’ll navigate the awe-inspiring southern Carpathian Mountains, including the world-famous Transfăgărășan Road and the Transalpina Pass—Romania’s highest paved road at 2,145 meters!

While the scenery promises to be unforgettable, the ride will come with its challenges. Long days on winding mountain roads, sharp hairpin turns, and ever-changing weather conditions. To take part, I am covering all personal travel expenses and committing to raise a minimum of $3,000. Of the funds raised, 80% will support our local women’s shelter, with the remaining 20% going toward national programs dedicated to preventing intimate partner violence.

I’ve chosen to take on this challenge because I believe a house is only a home when the people inside feel safe.

Will you join me in helping women and children find the safety, hope, and healing they deserve?
